Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bakalov closes the distance but Hammer moves to the side
and Hammer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bakalov has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Hammer off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Bakalov sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Hammer to the ground! Bakalov dives into full mount looking to finish!
It looks like Chistopher Hammer has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bakalov gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Bakalov wants to clinch up but Hammer keeps it at a distance.
Hammer wants to counter the offense by Bakalov and move into the clinch position.
Hammer scores with a decent looking hook.
Bakalov drops his shoulder and cracks Hammer with a huge uppercut! Hammer goes down! Can Bakalov finish him?
Hammer is working an open guard so Bakalov takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Hammer throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bakalov tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hammer is in Bakalov's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Hammer seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Bakalov has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Hammer is on him like a limpet, forcing Bakalov back against the cage.

Hammer takes a knee to the side of the body.

Bakalov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Hammer tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bakalov's elbow.

Hammer has clasped his hands together around Bakalov's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Bakalov sneaks out the side door and pushes Hammer away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Hammer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bakalov's guard.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Bakalov tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hammer swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Hammer shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bakalov as he avoids it easily.

Chistopher Hammer's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Hammer keeps the fight on the outside.
The fight stays on the outside here - Bakalov looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hammer looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Hammer fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bakalov avoids it really well and circles away.
Dragan Bakalov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chistopher Hammer.
Hammer is breathing heavily.
Hammer swats away the attempt to clinch by Bakalov.
Hammer shoots in looking for a takedown. Bakalov tries to sprawl out of it but Hammer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bakalov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Chistopher Hammer's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Dragan Bakalov!
Dragan Bakalov decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
