Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Simba Moso (ranked 5050 p4p, 469 weight class) and Louis Ruiz (ranked 5967 p4p, 0 weight class). Moso comes to the cage accompanied by The Lion Sleeps Tonight. This should be fireworks!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ruiz's corner calls for a 1-2. Ruiz obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ruiz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ruiz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Moso was well out of range. Poor timing from Ruiz.
And Moso counters with a quick kick to the body but Ruiz blocks it.
Ruiz scores with a crisp jab that stopped Moso in his tracks.
Moso slips a straight right by Ruiz.
Moso was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Ruiz misses with a looping left.
Moso looks to score with a jab to the body but Ruiz is just out of range.
Moso's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Ruiz connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Moso scrambles back to his feet.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Moso successfully pulls guard.
Ruiz wants to control from the top but Moso keeps moving.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Moso takes the fight into the clinch.
Ruiz misses with a punch on the inside.
Moso digs a right hand underneath Ruiz's ribcage. Ruiz let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Moso breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ruiz fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Louis Ruiz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ruiz fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Moso on the side of the head.

Moso is rocked!

Moso gets a double leg takedown into Ruiz's guard.
Oh Moso is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ruiz is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Ruiz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Moso's guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Moso connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Simba Moso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ruiz avoids the body shot from Moso.
Ruiz connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Moso's hands.
Ruiz cracks Moso with a hook to the temple - Moso is on wobbly legs here! Ruiz swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Moso falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Ruiz wins by TKO!

Louis Ruiz tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Simba Moso was interviewed post fight and said 'I will never give up!'.
