PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tae Lae Rocko (ranked 2352 p4p, 340 weight class) and Karlos Bendos (ranked 4597 p4p, 554 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Tae Lae Rocko has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tae Lae Rocko seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocko swings widly with a right hand

and Bendos counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Bendos.
Rocko prevents a takedown attempt there.

It looks like Karlos Bendos has been cut.

Rocko lands a big right hand that sends Bendos crashing to the mat! Rocko stays standing though and waves Bendos back to his feet!

Rocko lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Bendos backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bendos takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Rocko throws a shot from downtown. Bendos moves away and avoids it.

Rocko sends Bendos crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Rocko is motioning to the referee to let Bendos up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Rocko tries to keep at a distance but Bendos has taken the fight into the clinch.

Rocko feints and then cracks Bendos's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Bendos down.
Rocko feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Bendoss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Rocko misses with a double jab.
Bendos avoids the head kick by Rocko .
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Rocko 's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Bendos pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Bendos blocks a jab.
Rocko throws a half hearted mid kick.
Bendos takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Rocko lands with a straight right. Bendos didn't see that one coming.

After the fight, Tae Lae Rocko was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
