Pitts shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Fretz is controlling Pitts's posture.
Fretz is continuing to stall.
Pitts wants to stand but Fretz has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Fretz is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pitts throws a big elbow that misses.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fretz is pulling down on Pitts's head. It's preventing any offense from Pitts, at least for the moment.

Fretz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pitts doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Fretz is tightening it up a little... Pitts has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Pitts reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Pitts taps out! Nice BJJ there by Fretz!
