Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Lennon!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Hirohito Nitta and Yukihiro Shimada.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lennon throws a head kick that misses
and Lennon takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Atsushii throws a leg kick which misses Lennon's front leg but catches the back leg as Lennon tries to avoid it.
Lennon misses with a two punch combination.
Atsushii uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lennon.
Atsushii pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Atsushii swats away the attempt to clinch by Lennon.
A decent looking cross lands there for Atsushii.
Atsushii bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lennon gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Atsushii counters with an inside leg kick.
Lennon tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Atsushii counters with a good low kick that Lennon was not able to check.
Lennon tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Atsushii paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Atsushii checks a low kick from Lennon.
Lennon looks to land a left hand but Atsushii moved out of range nicely.
Lennon misses with a looping left.
Atsushii seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Atsushii tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lennon was well out of range. Poor timing from Atsushii.
Lennon now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Lennon checks a leg kick.
Atsushii fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Lennon lunges at Atsushii with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Atsushii's hand.
Atsushii moves out of range of the strikes.
Atsushii keeps the fight on the outside.
Atsushii fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lennon looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Lennon throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Atsushii sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Atsushii throwing a counter right hand but Lennon manages to avoid it.
Lennon lands a jab-cross combination.
Lennon swings for the body but Atsushii moves out of range.
Atsushii swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
We've been told by Atsushii's head coaches at Damage Inc. that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Atsushii on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lennon. Lennon obviously looking to wear him down.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Atsushii throws a good cross that connects.
Lennon is looking to clinch.
Lennon throws a hook to the side of Atsushii's head but Atsushii sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Atsushii fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Atsushii feints and then cracks Lennon's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lennon down.
Atsushii lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Lennon looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Atsushii circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lennon throws a push kick but Atsushii slaps the foot to one side.
Lennon connects with the punch.
Lennon throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Lennon lands a glancing blow to the side of Atsushii's head.
Lennon on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Lennon moves out of range as Atsushii strikes.
Lennon tries to counter with a clinch but Atsushii shakes him off and moves away.

Atsushii scores with a jab to the jaw.
Atsushii takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Atsushii looks to score with a jab to the body but Lennon is just out of range.
Atsushii chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Lennon can pounce on him.
Lennon catches Atsushii with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Atsushii lands a brutal head kick. Lennon looks out on his feet and Atsushii throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
