Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chad Murray (ranked 1011 p4p, 126 weight class) and Phil Arcuri (ranked 1712 p4p, 207 weight class). Murray comes to the cage accompanied by Dead man walking. Chad Murray has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Arcuri counters with a nice uppercut.
Murray misses with a wild body shot.
Arcuri changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Murray looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Murray is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Arcuri asserts his dominance and retains side control.
Arcuri wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Murray , who protects the arm well.
Murray is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Murray 's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Murray has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

In his post fight interview, Phil Arcuri started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
