Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between DJ Boom (ranked 2329 p4p, 212 weight class) and Kron Silva (ranked 1076 p4p, 119 weight class). DJ Boom could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kron Silva's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

21 - 7 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kron Silva!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva staying out of range there.
Silva throws a counter combo.
Boom tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Boom.
A punch combination from Boom misses.
Boom sets himself, and Silva steps forward looking for the clinch! Boom avoids it this time.
Silva catches Boom with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Boom misses with a looping right.

and Silva counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Silva thows a huge punch but Boom dodges it nicely.
Boom is trying to get back to full guard.
Boom really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Silva thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Boom's head.
Silva not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Silva wants to take a breather but Boom is having none of it.
Boom has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Boom is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Silva has latched onto it... Big trouble! Silva pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Boom is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Silva!

Kron Silva bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
