Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michael Dwyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doug Ricky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Doug Ricky is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Michael Dwyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Doug Ricky!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ricky finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Dwyer throws a sloppy head kick and Ricky moves out of range easily.
Dwyer misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ricky throws a right and a left that Dwyer avoids nicely.
Dwyer tries to keep at a distance but Ricky has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ricky with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Ricky lands an elbow inside.
It looks like Michael Dwyer has been cut.
Ricky breaks from the clinch.
Ricky tries for a takedown but Dwyer circles away easily
and Dwyer counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Ricky working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Dwyer.
Ricky looking to control.
Ricky is trying to hold Dwyer in close to prevent damage but Dwyer has managed to pass into half guard.
Dwyer throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Dwyer stands up and beckons Ricky to join him on the feet.
Dwyer fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Dwyer is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Ricky moves into the clinch successfully.
Dwyer escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ricky fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Ricky fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Dwyer sprawls well initially but Ricky persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Dwyer tries to kick Ricky off in order to stand up. Ricky Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Ricky stands up.
Ricky misses with a takedown attempt
and Dwyer counters with a shoot takedown. Ricky fights it but they end up in guard.
Michael Dwyer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Doug Ricky.
Ricky is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Dwyer stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Ricky wants to break free but Dwyer has control.
Dwyer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ricky fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ricky tries to clinch up.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dwyer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dwyer takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Ricky! Dwyer is backing up but he can't get away as Ricky lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Dwyer and ends the fight. Great knockout.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Doug Ricky!
