The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baird shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in vladistic's guard.

vladistic escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Baird gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

vladistic had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Baird is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. vladistic Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Baird's back instead.
Baird manages to reverse the position and now he's in vladistic's guard. Nice work there by Baird.

Now both of them are looking for submissions. vladistic seems to have locked his on tight now - Baird screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for vladistic, as he picks up the win!
