Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jason Chong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chong comes to the cage accompanied by Death Angel - Falling Asleep. The key to victory for Jason Chong has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jason Chong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dwayne Evans!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and John Mangel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chong is looking to clinch but Evans is avoiding it.

Chong gets caught flat footed, as Evans shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Chong keeping moving, preventing Evans from controlling successfully.
Chong preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Evans has gone for a leg lock! Chong slips out almost immediately though and dives into Evans's guard.

Evans looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Chong passes into side control.

Chong decides to stand up, so the ref orders Evans to his feet.

Evans had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Chong is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Evans Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Chong's back instead.

Chong gets to mount! Evans was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
