Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Borre Oppeboen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mo Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Borre Oppeboen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mo Mason!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Oppeboen moves away.
Oppeboen smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
It looks like Mo Mason has been cut.
Mason throws a head kick that misses.
Mo Mason seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oppeboen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Oppeboen looks to land a left hand but Mason moved out of range nicely.
Oppeboen bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Mason's head backwards.
Oppeboen throws a hook but Mason blocks it.
Mason swings for the body but Oppeboen moves out of range.
Some wild striking there from Mason.
Oppeboen slips a jab and a cross from Mason.
Oppeboen blocks a leg kick.
Mason fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Oppeboen fails to land with a series of punches.
Mason misses with a looping right.
Oppeboen throws a series of punches but Mason moves out of range.
Mason has a takedown stuffed.
Mason shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Oppeboen as he avoids it easily.
Borre Oppeboen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mo Mason.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mason changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Oppeboen tries to avoid it but Mason manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oppeboen to the ground. Oppeboen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Mason fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Oppeboen manages to avoid it.
Oppeboen takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Oppeboen lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Mason backs up against the cage.
Mason looks gassed!
Oppeboen fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Nice body punch from Oppeboen.
Oppeboen swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mason counters with a stiff right hand.
Mason takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Oppeboen throws a right hand that Mason ducks under and follows up with a left that Mason also avoids with ease.
Nice combo by Oppeboen! Oh, that's hurt him - Mason falls to the canvas and Oppeboen follows him into side control.
Oppeboen scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mason to see if he's OK.
Oppeboen grinds an elbow into Mason's temple.
That has opened up Mo Mason's cut even more.
Oppeboen lands some shots froms side control.
The cut above Mo Mason's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mo Mason's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:02 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Borre Oppeboen!
