Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ben Hemmingworth and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgregor wants to clinch but Wilcox slips to the side
and Wilcox counters with a nice kick to the body.
Conor Mcgregor seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mcgregor drives through with a takedown into guard.

Wilcox has his foot on Mcgregor's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mcgregor works his way back into a safe position though.
Wilcox manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mcgregor manages to get himself to full guard.

As Mcgregor tries to get set, Wilcox tries to push him back and clinch up but Mcgregor manages to avoid the attempt.

and Wilcox counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Wilcox changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mcgregor tries to avoid it but Wilcox manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mcgregor to the ground. Mcgregor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Wilcox gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mcgregor to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Mcgregor manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wilcox on his heels. He'll look to pass Wilcox's guard now, I'm sure.

I would just about give that final round to Conor Mcgregor.
