Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Shiro Kazuma!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, KaKayo Latakna!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Latakna bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Kazuma tries to clinch up.
A slow jab from Latakna misses its intended target.
Latakna throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Kazuma scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Kazuma tries to advance to mount but can't.
Kazuma trying to control the position but Latakna is working away.
Kazuma working the ground and pound but Latakna is defending the strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kazuma is looking to take a break and control but Latakna is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Latakna avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Kazuma.
Kazuma landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Kazuma trying to control the action but Latakna is working from the bottom.

Kazuma tries for a kimura but Latakna is defending well.

Kazuma looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Latakna can do anything to dispel that myth.
Kazuma content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kazuma wants to lay and pray for a moment but Latakna keeps working.

Kazuma thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Kazuma tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Kazuma is putting a hurting on Latakna here, landing some big shots from side control.

Kazuma working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Kazuma is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Latakna knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Latakna is looking to regain half guard here but Kazuma keeps moving and retains side control.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Latakna struggling a bit here.

Kazuma is trying to get an arm triangle but Latakna is defending well.

Kazuma is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Latakna is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Latakna really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kazuma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Kazuma wants to lay and pray for a moment but Latakna keeps working.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Latakna tries to improve position but can't.
Kazuma trying to control the action but Latakna is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kazuma is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Kazuma prevents Latakna from improving his position.

Kazuma is keen to just control but Latakna is a slippery customer.

Latakna desperately trying to maintain half guard.
Still in half guard, Kazuma seems content to control.

Latakna is defending against the submission attempts here by Kazuma.
Latakna tries to roll over but Kazuma keeps him under control.
Kazuma looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Kazuma has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Latakna defend it? Kazuma steps over the head and cranks it - Latakna is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Kazuma!
