The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Longbardo. Those never looked like landing.
Longbardo ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cox moves away.
Longbardo throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cox counters with a one-two to the body.
Longbardo looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Longbardo swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cox is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Longbardo moves into range and clinches up with Cox.
Longbardo lands with a short punch from the clinch.

It looks like Mike Cox has been cut.
Longbardo scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Cox swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Longbardo breaks from the clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Cox's face as he tries to break the clinch.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Longbardo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee calls for Longbardo to work.
Longbardo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Cox backwards.

Longbardo misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Longbardo manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Cox has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
A right handed body shot lands from Longbardo.
Longbardo lands a left hand that snaps the head of Cox backwards.
Cox looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

and Longbardo counters with a huge left! Cox is in big trouble! He's backing up but Longbardo isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Cox from any more damage. A dominating finish by Longbardo!
