The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drake thuds a left hand into Digano's body.
A shot to the liver by Drake. Beautiful body shot.
Digano blocks a head kick by Drake.
Digano drops down looking for a counter takedown but Drake sprawls and moves away.
A good leg kick by Drake.
Digano shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Drake sprawls well. Drake wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Digano gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Drake scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Drake closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Digano quickly recovers to half guard.

Digano pushes Drake off and gets back to his feet.
A solid body kick from Drake.
Drake throws a nice outside leg kick.
A left and a right from Drake both land. Nice combination.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Whack! Drake lands a heavy head kick that drops Digano. The ref tackles Drake to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Digano was done.
