Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Takayama Yataro (ranked 3518 p4p, 180 weight class) and Gruff Dragon (ranked 2822 p4p, 148 weight class). Yataro comes into the arena with Misoji Misaki blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

so Yataro counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Yataro avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Yataro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dragon has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Yataro has managed to get both his arms back between Dragon's legs - danger averted.

Yataro's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Yataro is posturing up here but Dragon has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Yataro tries to roll out but it's too tight and Yataro has to tap! Slick submission there by Dragon!
