The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smelly wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sernic, who protects the arm well.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Smelly connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Smelly throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Sernic stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Smelly follows into mount!

Sernic is rocked!

Jeez, Mirko Sernic's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mirko Sernic's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
