PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Conrad McNuggets (ranked 5474 p4p, 441 weight class) and Krzysztof Piszka (ranked 6985 p4p, 504 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McNuggets lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Piszka circles away quickly and effectively.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
McNuggets misses with a two punch combination.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Piszka looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks McNuggets with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

McNuggets knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Piszka on the ground.

Piszka remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
McNuggets takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Oh McNuggets is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Piszka scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh McNuggets is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Piszka can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!
