Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Lyoto Machida!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marcus HIll!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Machida blocks a head kick by HIll.
A low kick from HIll is predictable there
and Machida counters by moving into the clinch.
Machida jumps guard and drags HIll to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

HIll is looking to stand up but Machida won't let him.
Machida working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. HIll doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. HIll manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

HIll drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Machida gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Marcus HIll seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

HIll pushes Machida away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Machida gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Machida shoots in looking for a takedown. HIll tries to sprawl out of it but Machida keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. HIll manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Marcus HIll is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
HIll feints a jab promting Machida to slip. HIll then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Machida slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
And that's the end of the fight!
Marcus HIll comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got HIll winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
