Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between DJ Apollo (ranked 231 p4p, 30 weight class) and Takeshi Yuudai (ranked 190 p4p, 23 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yuudai bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Apollo's head.

Apollo shoots for a double leg takedown but Yuudai sprawls well. He's pushed Apollo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

We've been hearing good reports from Apollo's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Takeshi Yuudai comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
