Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dennis Dueck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Weather!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dueck throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Weather.
Weather fails with the takedown.
Dueck takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Weather fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Weather shoots in for a takedown but Dueck shows good takedown defense.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Dueck is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dennis Dueck will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Weather clobbers Dueck with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Weather shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dueck as he avoids it easily.

Dueck walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Weather checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

John Weather comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
