Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Nieves (ranked 24821 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Bob (ranked 5791 p4p, 0 weight class). Danny Bob will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Danny Bob!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bob pushes Nieves up against the cage in a clinch.
Nieves is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Nieves breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Nieves will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Bob up against the cage.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bob enables Nieves to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bob manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Nieves's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Bob is working an open guard so Nieves takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Bob turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bob manages to end up in side control.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bob's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Bob throws an elbow that misses. Nieves uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bob's guard. Nice move by Nieves!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Steve Nieves will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Steve Nieves.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nieves, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
