The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Eddie Farnsworth and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roldan throws a body shot but no joy.
Karl scores with a kick to the midsection.
Roldan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Karls jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Karl darts in and clinches Roldan up against the cage.
Karl manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Roldan trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Karl manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!
Karl engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Karl connects with a couple of short punches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Karl stays in close to Roldan's body and controls the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karl drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Karl as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Roldan screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Karl! Nice submission victory there!
