The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid leg kick lands there for Reign.
Reign keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Reign with a hook.
Reign throws a nice outside leg kick.
We've been told by Ellis's head coaches at the smoker that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ellis connects with an inside leg kick.
Reign pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Reign throws an overhand right that lands on Ellis's shoulder, as Ellis tries to avoid the shot.
Ellis ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Ellis is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Reign.
Reign lands with a good body shot.
Ellis scores with a crisp jab that stopped Reign in his tracks.
Ellis misses with a low kick.
Reign throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Reign looks to land a right hand but Ellis moved out of range.
That kick from Ellis tenderised Reign's leg. Reign is trying to keep his angry face on.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ellis takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
A big right from Reign misses.

Reign fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
A shot to the body from Ellis misses
and Reign counters with a good, hard body kick but Ellis shrugs it off.
Reign's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ellis under the eye.
Reign lands with a straight right. Ellis didn't see that one coming.
No joy there for Reign, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Reign swings for the body but Ellis moves out of range.
Ellis half committed to a counter leg kick.
Reign with a nice cross.
Reign has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Reign stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Ellis.
A left lands for Ellis.
A chopping leg kick lands by Ellis.
Reign slips under a jab from Ellis.
Reign thinks about the counter body kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ellis steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Reign. That one must have hurt.
Reign lands with a thumping leg kick.
Reign lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Ellis is rocked!

Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Reign throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Ellis is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
