The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ducks drops his hands momentarily and Vaziri I I I takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Ducks on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Vaziri I I I scores with a jab to the body.
Ducks misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vaziri I I I attempts a counter takedown but Ducks avoids it well and moves away.
Ducks's coach down at Animal FLEX Zone was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ducks's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Vaziri I I I lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Vaziri I I I's corner calls for a 1-2. Vaziri I I I obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Ducks throws a head kick but Vaziri I I I moves out of range.

Vaziri I I I drops Ducks with a beautiful combination! Ducks stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Vaziri I I I is looking for the KO!
Vaziri I I I lands a jab to Ducks's midsection.
Ducks looks winded!

Vaziri I I I feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Ducks sprawling to the canvas! Ducks rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Vaziri I I I finish him?!

Vaziri I I I connects with a body shot that sends Ducks's belly button to the back.

Frank Ducks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ducks moves forwards but Vaziri I I I connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Ducks is still on wobbly legs! Can Vaziri I I I finish him?
Ducks takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Ducks seems to have recovered his senses.

Vaziri I I I sends Ducks crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Vaziri I I I is motioning to the referee to let Ducks up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Vaziri I I I dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ducks. That did some damage!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Vaziri I I I lands with a good body shot.
Ducks takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Vaziri I I I drops Ducks with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ducks looks back up at him and smiles so Vaziri I I I waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
A head kick by Vaziri I I I - that's a beauty! Ducks is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Vaziri I I I can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!

Hossein Vaziri I I I decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
