Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rich Zaiou (ranked 7699 p4p, 418 weight class) and Manu Peralta (ranked 6096 p4p, 377 weight class). Zaiou comes to the cage accompanied by Plug Walk - Rich The Kid. Peralta has chosen Moke boy - Hawaiian kickboxer as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zaiou misses with a double jab
and Peralta counters with a nice double leg into side control. Zaiou won't be happy with that.
Zaiou can't do much from the bottom here.
Peralta wants to lay and pray for a moment but Zaiou keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Peralta shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zaiou's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Manu Peralta dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Zaiou motions for Peralta to come forward. Zaiou throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Peralta has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Zaiou finds it's way round the side to connect with Peralta's head.
Peralta connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Zaiou momentarily.
Zaiou misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Peralta.
Zaiou comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Manu Peralta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Peralta scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Zaiou tries to roll over but Peralta keeps him under control.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Zaiou is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
