Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Batts forces Destroyer back against the cage and clinches.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Batts takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Destroyer tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Batts's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

It looks like Billy Batts has been cut.
Batts wants to stall.
Batts tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Batts is trying to break the clinch but Destroyer is controlling him.

Destroyer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Destroyer looks to throw the jab but Batts is out of range.
Batts looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Destroyer misses the shot to the body.
Nice body punch from Destroyer.
Batts really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Destroyer scores with a shot to the body.

Destroyer avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Batts is looking to clinch but Destroyer is avoiding it.
Batts moves out of range as Destroyer strikes.
Batts tries to counter by clinching up but Destroyer breaks away and moves out of range.
Destroyer pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Destroyer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Batts uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Destroyer.

Batts moves into range and clinches up with Destroyer.

A frustrated look appears on Batts's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Destroyer lands a shoulder strike.
Batts is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Destroyer.
Batts has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Batts throws an elbow but it misses.
Batts wants to get back to striking at distance but Destroyer won't allow it.
Destroyer is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.
Batts wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Batts comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Batts stalls.

Destroyer breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Destroyer has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Destroyer drops Batts with a naaaaasty hook - Batts is in real trouble here! Destroyer dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
