The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Adkins throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bob was covering up waiting for the punch and Adkins finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Bob is wriggling around but Adkins manages to pass to half guard.

Adkins takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bob is looking to get back to is feet but Adkins passes into side control.
Bob tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Adkins has isolated one of Bob's arms. Bob looking to fight him off but Adkins twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
