Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Quintonn Jacksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kevin Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Burn it to the ground as his entrance music. Kevin Johnson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Jacksson.
Jacksson slows the pace down.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jacksson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Johnson on the ground.
Jacksson throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.

Jacksson decides to stand back up. Jacksson steps back and let's Johnson get back to his feet.
Johnson tries to close the distance and clinch but Jacksson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Jacksson shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Jacksson was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Jacksson cracks Johnson with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Jacksson feints and as Johnson raises his hands in defense, Jacksson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Jacksson throws a strike but Johnson rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Johnson wants to control from the top but Jacksson keeps moving.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Johnson is trying to escape the mount.
Jacksson won't let Johnson get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

Jacksson can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johnson is looking to escape.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jacksson has hold of Johnson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Johnson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Jacksson wants to finish this one by submission but Johnson is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Jacksson.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jacksson cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jacksson goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Johnson turns into him and now he's in Jacksson's guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Jacksson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
