PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bobby Drake (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and claudius henriques (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Drake might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Iceman Music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
henriques looks to land a combination. Drake sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
henriques doesn't manage to clinch there - Drake circles away.
henriques shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Drake as he jumps to the side.

Drake closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Drake had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. henriques is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Drake Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take henriques's back instead.
