PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Delmar Petty (ranked 7109 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Raikonnen (ranked 6304 p4p, 634 weight class). Raikonnen has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Raikonnen shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Petty lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Petty drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Raikonnen gets the underhooks and prevents it.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Raikonnen working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.
