Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Saul Mollenhauer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dom Danky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Saul Mollenhauer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danky misses with a two punch combination.
Danky misses with a wild combination.
Mollenhauer throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Danky's waist but Danky gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mollenhauer off to one side.

Mollenhauer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Danky to the mat! Danky manages to get full guard.

Mollenhauer drops back looking for a leg! Danky is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Danky manages to kick Mollenhauer off! Mollenhauer jumps back into Danky's guard.
Mollenhauer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Danky swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mollenhauer chips away with some ground and pound.

Mollenhauer tries for a kimura but Danky is defending well.
Mollenhauer grinds an elbow into Danky's temple.

Mollenhauer tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Mollenhauer has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Danky tries to bench press Mollenhauer off him but Mollenhauer keeps the position.

Mollenhauer is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Danky knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Mollenhauer thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Danky is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Danky tries to roll over but Mollenhauer keeps him under control.
Mollenhauer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Danky makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Mollenhauer closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Mollenhauer is keen to just control but Danky is a slippery customer.
Danky is looking to control Mollenhauer's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Danky avoid being mounted?

Mollenhauer is looking for a kimura but Danky is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Mollenhauer to get the leverage.

Mollenhauer is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Danky has managed to free his arm - good work.

Mollenhauer shoots in for a takedown but Danky shows good takedown defense.

Mollenhauer had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Danky is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mollenhauer Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Danky's back instead.

Danky is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mollenhauer gets his way!
