The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Me shoots and misses
and Brock counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Me shoots in for a takedown but Brock shows good takedown defense.

Brock tries to keep at a distance but Me has taken the fight into the clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Elliott Brock will probably get the nod.

Brock shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Me manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Me has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Brock off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Me tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Brock shoots in for a takedown but Me shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Me slaps away a takedown attempt from Brock, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Elliott Brock overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Me content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Brock has locked up a guillotine! Brock's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Me is holding on here and Brock must be using up a lot of energy. Me has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Brock gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
