Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dog Beta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ximena Loca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ximena Loca will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loca stuffs the takedown attempt from Beta. Beta gets slowly back to his feet.
Dog Beta seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Loca wants to clinch up but Beta keeps it at a distance.

Beta shoots in and drives through. Loca sprawls well.
Loca fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.

Horrible takedown by Beta or perhaps it was just good defense by Loca which made him look bad.

Beta drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Loca tries to bench press Beta off him but Beta keeps the position.

Loca pushes Beta off looking to stand but Beta dives back in and keeps control.
Beta is trying to control. Loca wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Loca really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beta. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Loca is looking for a sweep. Beta is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Beta wants to take a breather but Loca is having none of it.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dog Beta will probably get the nod.

Dog Beta is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Beta slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Beta counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Beta might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Beta controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Loca is wriggling around but Beta manages to pass to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Loca tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Beta manages to move to mount!
Beta can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Loca is looking to escape.
Loca is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Ximena Loca has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Loca is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
