The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Taurus trying to control but McCoy is working from the bottom.
McCoy lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Taurus!

McCoy is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Taurus has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Taurus!
McCoy is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Taurus wants to control from the top but McCoy keeps moving.
Taurus might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control McCoy kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

McCoy throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Taurus trying to control the position from guard on top but McCoy is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Taurus must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
McCoy had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Taurus is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. McCoy Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Taurus's back instead.

Spencer Taurus showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

McCoy escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Taurus gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Taurus trying to control but McCoy is working from the bottom.
Taurus pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McCoy is keeping the position for now.
Taurus has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing McCoy to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Taurus is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - McCoy pulls down on the head and he's put Taurus to sleep! This one is all over!
