The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Miranda misses.
Fossmo moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Miranda throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fossmo.
An attempted straight right counter from Fossmo misses the target.
Miranda swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Fossmo counter with a right hand.

Miranda gets caught flat footed, as Fossmo shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Fossmo throwing strikes from guard but Miranda blocks nicely.
Fossmo engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Fossmo has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fossmo's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Fossmo definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Fossmo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Miranda manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Fossmo has Miranda in his guard.

Fossmo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Miranda must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Fossmo working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Miranda doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Miranda manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Fossmo is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Miranda rolls with it to try and escape but Fossmo cranks on the arm and Miranda is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
