The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frisk seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Day fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Frisk scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Frisk seems to be looking for submissions.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Frisk seems to be working for a kimura but Day defends the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frisk is looking to advance position but Day won't allow it.

Frisk is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Day defends it well.
Frisk wants to control but Day is keeping him busy.
Frisk is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Day is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
