Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Machida misses.
Machida lands a jab-cross combination.

Willians fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Machida, pushing him back against the cage.
Machida wants to break the clinch but can't.
Machida tries to break the clinch but Willians is controlling the position.

Machida escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Machida looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Willians dodges the punch combination from Machida.
Machida misses with a looping right.
Willians shoots in looking for a takedown. Machida tries to sprawl out of it but Willians keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Machida manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Machida lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Willians backs up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Willians shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Willians shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Machida pinned against the cage. Machida gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sena Willians. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Willians uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Machida.
Machida throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Willians stumbling backwards into the cage! Willians bounces back off the cage towards Machida, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Machida lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Machida celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.
