The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pitt scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Ruxpin doesn't seem bothered though.
Pitt throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Pitt tries to bum rush Ruxpin with a series of wild strikes but Ruxpin uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Pitt throws a hook to the side of Ruxpin's head but Ruxpin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Pitt throws a right hand that Ruxpin ducks under and follows up with a left that Ruxpin also avoids with ease.
Pitt throws a solid leg kick but Ruxpin takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Pitt.
Pitt finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Pitt throws a shot from downtown. Ruxpin moves away and avoids it.
Pitt throws a low kick but Ruxpin avoids it.
Pitt connects with a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Ruxpin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Pitt swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Dirk Pitt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pitt throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pitt, right into the meat.
Ruxpin is breathing heavily.

Pitt prevents Ruxpin from getting the reversal.
