Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sekon Chance!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Bill Gillispe!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Paul Tew and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gillispe goes for a double leg but Chance avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Chance continues to drive forward.

Chance scores with a takedown into Gillispe's guard.
Chance content to stall in guard here.

Gillispe has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chance can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Chance decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Gillispe, up you get!

Gillispe gets caught flat footed, as Chance shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Gillispe not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Chance definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Chance would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Gillispe is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Chance wants to stand but Gillispe is controlling his posture from full guard.
Chance tries to free his leg and advance position but Gillispe is retaining full guard.

Chance missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

Gillispe looking for a guillotine here but Chance defends easily.
Chance passes Gillispe's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Chance takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Chance lands with a punch from half guard.
Gillispe trying to hold on to Chance's head to control him but Chance postures up.
Chance seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Gillispe trying to control from the bottom.
Gillispe tries to roll over but Chance keeps him under control.
Gillispe wants to control but Chance is keeping busy.
Still in half guard, Chance seems content to control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Gillispe gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Gillispe has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Chance off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Chance throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Gillispe tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chance is in Gillispe's guard.

Gillispe wants to hit a switch here but Chance passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Gillispe there!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gillispe stops Chance from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Gillispe tries to reverse the position but Chance maintains control.
Chance lands a nice shot to the head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Chance working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Chance raining down hammerfists from mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sekon Chance dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Chance looking to score a takedown here. Gillispe is defending well but Chance drives through and ends up in Gillispe's guard.

Gillispe is working an open guard so Chance takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Gillispe shoots in but Chance avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Chance is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Gillispe can do to turn this around?
Gillispe misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Chance counters by moving into the clinch.
Gillispe goes for a takedown attempt but Chance pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Sekon Chance has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bill Gillispe.

Chance closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chance lands in his opponent's guard.
Chance might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Chance slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Chance has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Chance is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Chance is in close to Gillispe's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Chance distracts Gillispe with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Chance controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Sekon Chance overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Gillispe trying to keep a closed guard but Chance is proving a slippery customer.

Gillispe is working an open guard so Chance takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Chance displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gillispe.

Chance gets a takedown into half guard.

Chance decides to return to a standing position.

Chance darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Chance has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Chance connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Chance landing strikes, looking to finish!
Chance lands with some strikes.
Gillispe really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Chance controlling the position easily from mount.
Chance lands a nice shot to the head.

A big strike lands for Chance! That's really hurt Gillispe and he's turned his back - Chance keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Chance jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
