The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McTavern lands with a nice body punch.
We've been hearing reports that Marinyx has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

McTavern punishes Marinyx's body with a nice straight punch.
Nice uppercut lands for McTavern. That snapped Marinyx's head back.
McTavern throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Marinyx stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts McTavern, as that shot connected.
McTavern is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Marinyx had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Marinyx. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

McTavern fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Marinyx to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Marinyx looks to clinch but McTavern throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Marinyx taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
