Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gordon Marlow (ranked 7564 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nico Bodrovic (ranked 5449 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bodrovic lands a slapping body shot.
Marlow slaps away a takedown attempt from Bodrovic, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Marlow defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bodrovic.

Bodrovic is trying to break the clinch but Marlow is controlling him.
Marlow 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Marlow for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

Bodrovic tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Marlow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Marlow takes one on the button.
Bodrovic tries to close the distance and clinch but Marlow swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Marlow jumps into guard, dragging Bodrovic to the mat.
