Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 31 - 25 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evan Better!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 34 - 25 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Thomas Watson!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Watson takes the fight into the clinch.

Better is nestled in close to Watson, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Better is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Watson's shoulder. That is not cool.
Better's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
