The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Douglas looks to score with a jab to the body but Tamatso is just out of range.
Tae Kwon Douglas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tamatso drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Tamatso is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Douglas knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Tamatso is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Douglas has escaped the position, nice work there.

Tamatso has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
