Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jamar Wall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Martin Wolfe!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wolfe manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Wall on his heels. He'll look to pass Wall's guard now, I'm sure.
Wolfe is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wall not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wolfe slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Wolfe stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wall swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Wolfe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Wolfe landing a few strikes.

Wolfe thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Wall is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

The referee asks Wolfe politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Wolfe prefers to stall for the moment though.
Wall can't do much from the bottom here.
Wall is trying to escape the position but Wolfe is controlling the position.

Wolfe works to advance to full mount. Wall defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Wolfe with a couple of short strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wolfe controlling the pace for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like Wolfe might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.



Wolfe closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Wall did well to prevent Wolfe getting side control.

Wolfe lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Still in half guard, Wolfe seems content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wolfe has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Wall works to full guard.

Wolfe lands a couple of digs.
Wall trying to keep a closed guard but Wolfe is proving a slippery customer.

Wall working a defensive guard but Wolfe manages to pass into side control anyway.

Wall is trying to escape the position but Wolfe is controlling the position.
Wall is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Wolfe is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Wall wants to control but Wolfe is having none of it.
Wall is wriggling around trying to escape.
Wall taking shots to the head.

Wolfe connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Wall is in a horrible position here. Wolfe smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Wolfe has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Wolfe unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Wall wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Wolfe celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
