Abueva drops his hands momentarily and Tarczynski takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tarczynski connects with a right hand. Abueva shakes it off.
Abueva throws a poor cross that misses
and Tarczynski counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Abueva on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Abueva takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Tarczynski counters with a crisp one two that drops Abueva! Tarczynski thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Abueva to his feet! Abueva is in big trouble!

Tarczynski cracks Abueva with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Abueva looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Tarczynski finish him?
Oh Abueva is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That kick from Tarczynski tenderised Abueva's leg. Abueva is trying to keep his angry face on.
Tarczynski uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Abueva.
A slapping leg kick lands for Tarczynski.
Tarczynski connects with a solid leg kick.
Tarczynski ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Tarczynski lands a slapping body shot.
Abueva has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Tarczynski has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Tarczynski throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Abueva on the side of the head.

Tarczynski fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Abueva has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Tarczynski lands a big uppercut and Abueva crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Abueva looks OK. Tarczynski waves Abueva back to his feet!
Tarczynski lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Tarczynski is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Abueva had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Tarczynski walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Abueva drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Tarczynski swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Abueva's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
