Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tucker Lee (ranked 4839 p4p, 379 weight class) and Whambleaux Finchner (ranked 4979 p4p, 389 weight class). Lee comes into the arena with DMX - Party Up (Up In Here) blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tucker Lee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Whambleaux Finchner!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lee.
Finchner bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lee's head backwards.
Finchner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Finchner keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Finchner lands with a shot to the body.
Finchner uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
The fight stays on the outside here - Lee looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lee throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Finchner clinches with his opponent.

Finchner manages to break the clinch.

Lee darts in and clinches Finchner up against the cage.
Finchner is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Finchner has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Lee wants to break free but Finchner has control.
Finchner working hard to break the clinch.
Finchner tries to break the clinch but Lee is controlling the position.
Finchner wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Lee has him pressed against the cage.

Finchner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
A jab from Lee misses.
Lee tries to clinch but Finchner moves out of range.

Lee closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Lee lands in his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Lee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Finchner wants to sweep but no luck.
Finchner wants to stand but Lee is controlling the position.
Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Finchner swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Lee drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lee jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Lee is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Finchner is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Finchner has escaped and now he's on top!


Finchner stands and steps away. Lee gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
A combination from Finchner does no damage.
Whambleaux Finchner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Finchner blocks a jab.
Lee tries to clinch up but Finchner circles away and keeps his distance.
Finchner circles away from the clinch attempt.
Finchner checks a leg kick.
Lee tries to clinch there but Finchner circles away.
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Finchner swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Finchner dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Lee gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A decent looking cross lands there for Finchner.
Whambleaux Finchner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Finchner closes the distance and pushes Lee back into the cage.
Finchner is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Lee definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Finchner has eaten all the pies!

Finchner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Finchner has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Lee is landing a low percentage of strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lee has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Finchner finds it's way round the side to connect with Lee's head.
Lee avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lee takes a jab right on the kisser.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Finchner scores with a nice right hand.

Finchner has Lee up against the cage in a clinch.
Finchner stops a takedown attempt from Lee.
Lee has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Finchner avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tucker Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Finchner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Finchner swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Lee.
Lee tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Whambleaux Finchner dominated that round.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!


Sloppy strikes from Finchner. Those never looked like landing.
Lee takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A nice combination there by Finchner.

Lee forces Finchner back against the cage and clinches.

Finchner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Finchner keeps the fight on the outside.

Finchner has taken the fight to the clinch.

Finchner breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Finchner looks to land a combination but Lee avoids it well.
Lee was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Finchner digs a good body shot into Lee's ribs.
Finchner lands with a straight right. Lee didn't see that one coming.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Finchner connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Lee momentarily.
Lee tries to clinch up.
Lee loads up on a big right hand but Finchner slips the punch.
Finchner steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Lee.
The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Lee tries to keep at a distance but Finchner has taken the fight into the clinch.
Finchner tries to break free but Lee pushes him back against the cage.

Finchner breaks from the clinch.
A jab from Finchner does it's job there.


Lee is rocked!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Oh Lee is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Finchner pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Finchner instigates a clinch.

Finchner's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Finchner lands a brutal uppercut that launches Lee off his feet! Lee tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:38 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Whambleaux Finchner!
Tucker Lee spoke after the fight, saying 'I accept the defeat, but I will be back!'.
