Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jarred Brady (ranked 5448 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hafid Lumihi (ranked 5464 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jarred Brady!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hafid Lumihi!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Cecil Peabody and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brady takes a kick to the side of the head.
Lumihi has Brady up against the cage in a clinch.
Lumihi lands a takedown into guard.
Brady bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lumihi's guard.
Brady trying to control but Lumihi is working from the bottom.
Lumihi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brady is one step ahead there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lumihi wants to get back to his feet but Brady is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Brady looking to pass the guard.
Brady throwing strikes from guard but Lumihi blocks nicely.

Brady postures up and lands a big shot to Lumihi's brow.
Brady with a flurry of punches that miss.
Brady is looking to stand up but Lumihi won't let him.
Lumihi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brady. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Lumihi seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Lumihi is trying to control the position but Brady postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brady wants to control from the top but Lumihi keeps moving.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Brady with a nice head shot there.
Lumihi keeping moving, preventing Brady from controlling successfully.
Lumihi working for a triangle but Brady defends it easily.
Brady is working Lumihi over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Brady has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Lumihi has a closed guard, preventing Brady from standing up.

Lumihi looking to hit a scissor sweep but Brady is one step ahead there.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Brady throws a body kick that misses.
Brady sets himself, and Lumihi steps forward looking for the clinch! Brady avoids it this time.
Brady takes a swing at Lumihi's ribcage but misses.
Lumihi throws a head kick but Brady moves out of range.
Lumihi fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Brady throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Lumihi counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Brady is trying to control but Lumihi manages to pass to mount!

Brady working to try and regain half guard.
Lumihi can't control as he wanted to and Brady manages to get the fight back to his half guard.
Lumihi tries to stand and escape but Brady actually recovers to full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Hafid Lumihi will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Lumihi defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Brady.
Brady tries to clinch up but Lumihi circles away and keeps his distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lumihi.
Lumihi throws the kick towards the body but Brady avoids it.
Lumihi throws a chopping leg kick but Brady manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
No luck for Brady with that takedown attempt.
Lumihi fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brady, pushing him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lumihi breaks the clinch.
Lumihi drives through with a takedown into guard.
Brady is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lumihi is controlling him.

Lumihi would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Lumihi has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Lumihi looking to sit in guard and control but Brady gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Brady stops Lumihi from standing up.
Brady trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Jarred Brady overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Lumihi is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Lumihi is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Lumihi working for submissions but it's allowed Brady to get to half guard.
Brady works his way into full mount!
Lumihi taking shots to the head.

Brady looking to control but Lumihi is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Lumihi is looking to improve his position but Brady isn't that keen on the idea.
Brady trying to control but Lumihi is having none of it.
Brady is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Lumihi has given up his back here.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Brady is working for a rear naked choke. Lumihi is not defending it well and Brady has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Lumihi refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Lumihi's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jarred Brady!
