Hiller has chosen Rush and Run - Shake and Jump as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiller takes one to the side of the head.
Rivera lands with a nice body punch.
Erik Hiller seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rivera gets caught flat footed, as Hiller shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Hiller passes Rivera's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Rivera really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hiller prevents Rivera from standing back up.

Hiller is working for a kimura but Rivera is defending it quite comfortably.
Rivera wants to get back to his feet.
Hiller seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
