Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hugo Pittman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mathias Rekve!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Darius Henderson and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rekve lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Rekve goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Pittman is rocked!
Rekve closes the distance looking for a takedown. Pittman stuffs it but Rekve still has hold of him. Rekve picks Pittman up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Rekve slams Pittman to the floor and that's really hurt Pittman - he doesn't know where he is! Rekve throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mathias Rekve!
